Why is national security compliance important?

In today's interconnected world, we enjoy unprecedented opportunities for international collaboration, knowledge sharing and cultural exchange. These connections help drive innovative research, offer diverse learning experiences and provide global perspectives. However, as we expand our international collaborations, we also face increased risks such as intellectual property theft, hidden influence on research and teaching, and threats to academic freedom.

It's crucial for us to understand these challenges, and to foster a safe, secure and ethical environment. To mitigate these risks, and safeguard ACU's brand and the national interest, the University implements rigorous national security compliance measures.
